The former Hotel Le Méridien, located on Rua da Fonte do Boi (Rio Vermelho), inaugurated in 1974 and famous for housing the Pestana, was acquired by Moura Dubeux and will be transformed into Salvador 220 (the retrofit of the original building) and the new high-end Cyano development.

The iconic property is undergoing a major revitalization process, divided into two real estate projects:

• Salvador 220: The original tower will undergo a full retrofit to house 438 compact residential and hospitality units (1 to 2 bedrooms), ranging from 33 m² to 136 m².

The former hotel, which made history as Bahia’s first five-star property, was decommissioned in 2017 and will now make way for a modern living and tourism complex.
