During college (Advertising and Propaganda), he worked on various projects for different open and cable TV broadcasters, as well as a cameraman on small personal projects. During this time, he completed technical courses in Photography at Atelier da Imagem, Editing and Video Art, as well as Cinematic Camera at the International Film Academy. 

In the year of his graduation (2009), faced with the growing number of freelance assignments, Fabio Fantauzzi and two partners decided to open a production company focused on corporate-institutional work for major Brazilian and international companies. Simultaneously, he began dedicating himself to cinematographic reporting for open and cable TV broadcasters in Brazil and abroad: Globo, SBT, Band, Rede Brasil, Multishow, GNT, + Globosat, SporTV, ESPN Brasil, Fox Sports Latin America, trueTV, BandSports, Time-Warner/Turner Broadcasting, Nickelodeon, Discovery Channel...

The combination of this “on the go” learning led Fabio Fantauzzi to receive his mentors’ approval to sign his work as Director of Photography for TV and cinema. After signing series for both open and cable TV, he realized there were few professionals in the field with some of his, let’s say, “extreme skills.” He created, developed, and specialized in a niche—until then nonexistent in the Brazilian market—of “risk camera.”  Notably: even in these extreme cases, he insists on highlighting his artistic sensitivity, acquired through intense training under one of his mentors, Batman Zavareze, who has long supervised him with a rare clinical eye for new visual aesthetics, without neglecting the extensive time invested in his video art studies: a visual aesthetic of indisputable good taste in which he naturally explores his ease of bodily movement while holding the camera.
